Roles and Responsibilities
- Write statistical analysis plans.
- Prepare and assist in blind data review meetings.
- Apply various statistical methods and propose new approaches including (PCA, PLS, t-SNE, and univariate models.)
- Use Bayesian networks to conduct strategic meta-analyses based on clinical data to classify active ingredients according to their effectiveness.
- Statistical analysis pipeline development involving omics and clinical data
- Automate the loading of clinical and omics data and integrate them into standardized objects.
- Create analytical modules that take these objects as input and generate standardized results for automatic reporting.
- Establish a statistical methodology for analyzing clinical study data (POCs) to evaluate the effectiveness of active ingredients (clinical and instrumental data).
The Ideal Candidate
- R software development and Best practices in R and RMarkdown (tidyverse) and Quarto
- Experience working on cloud computing platforms, specifically GCP
- Proficiency with Git and Github for version control and collaborative coding
- Experience with code industrialization best practices, including testing documentation and deployment
- Support team members in analyzing study data and assist in result interpretation.
- Interpret and communicate results to project stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non technical audience.
- Experience preparing and delivering regular reports to technical manager on project status, key findings and next steps
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for improvement. Ability to anticipate potential challenges and propose solutions proactively
- Ability to work autonomously, managing priorities effectively, and taking initiative to drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
- Experience in cosmetics or biology/life science industry would be appreciated
- Experience in biomarker/omics data analysis (biostatistics and/or bioinformatics) is mandatory
