Roles and Responsibilities
- Possesses a strong understanding of the overall vision, business needs, and solution architecture for SAP BODS applications. Uses this in-depth knowledge to solve reasonably complex problems.
- Utilizes knowledge of best practices and acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide technical solution designs.
- Works closely with the process team to understand business requirements, review functional specifications, develop technical specifications, build applications, unit test the applications, and support the process team during integration testing
- Designs and builds applications with best practices in mind.
- Investigates and corrects production issues.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the areas specified under Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong experience in SAP BODS design and development.
- Development experience with advanced BODS functionalities.
- Strong background in data migration with hands-on experience using SAP BODS
- Ability to quickly understand existing functionality and rules, and to build BODS queries and jobs.
- Strong experience with databases and SQL.
- Ability to build highly technical BODS jobs using multiple data sources and complex business rules.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of SAP Master Data relevant tables and joins.
- Strong experience with ETL transformation services, via the SAP Landscape Transformation server (SLT) or SAP Data Services.
